since 1996 u.a. an der Künstler.VHS tätig;
Edith Lechner is a member of the Association of Fine Artists of Austria.
The creative work of Edith Lechner concentrates on intense emotions and experiences which touch the inmost soul of wo/man and, in their most extreme form, are capable of stirring and upsetting them.
To implement her highly complex subjects, the artist chooses a very special way in a formal and technical sense: On a floating basis (watercolor on silk), acrylic annotations, condensed to the utmost in color and message, set stark accents and counterpoints. (Text: Markus B. Pirchner PR)
